The Origin
The Story Behind Christian Ross Co.
Christian Ross Co. was born from a journey of persistence, endurance, and the belief that something meaningful is built through the moments that challenge you the most.
In 2017, I started an insurance company. I spent the next four years learning how to build a business, serve people, prospect, handle rejection, and keep moving forward when things didn't go as planned.
In January 2020, I decided to take my experience into the B2B space, helping businesses establish employee benefits programs. What followed became one of the hardest seasons of my professional life.
For five months, I didn't get paid. But I kept showing up.
Every day, I went out prospecting. I made the calls. I knocked on doors. I faced rejection. I continued searching for opportunities even when there was no guarantee that my next opportunity would pay off.
I could have quit. Instead, I fought through it.
Then, in August 2020, everything changed. I was awarded #1 Account Opener for the Northeast with Aflac.
That accomplishment meant more to me than simply being recognized for sales performance. It represented everything that happened behind the scenes the months without income, the rejection, the uncertainty, and most importantly, the decision to keep going.
That experience became part of the foundation for Christian Ross Co.
When I created my first product, I named it The Remnant. The name has spiritual meaning to me, but it represents much more than that. A remnant is something that remains. It represents longevity, endurance, persistence, character, and refined quality.
It is the part that survives. It is the part that withstands pressure. It is the part that remains when everything else has been stripped away.
That is what I wanted this product and this company to represent.
The Remnant is designed to be more than a leather bag. It represents the person carrying it: someone who has endured, continued forward, and built something worth remembering.
Christian Ross Co. was created from that same mindset. I don't want to build products that are here today and forgotten tomorrow. I want to build leather goods with character, craftsmanship, and longevity products that can be carried for years, passed down, and remembered.
Because sometimes the greatest proof of quality isn't what survives when everything is easy. It's what remains after you've been tested.
